Kirsty graduated from the University of Sydney in 2016 with a Master of Occupational Therapy. She joined the Scope Home Access team in 2017, working out of our Hunter and Shoalhaven offices before being permanently based at our Illawarra head office.
Kirsty provides Occupational Therapy services to clients under all of Scope Home Access' service streams and has experience providing clinical services to clients with diverse diagnoses and disabilities including neurological, amputations, intellectual disabilities, degenerative conditions and age-related conditions. In particular, she enjoys the challenge of prescribing complex home modifications and the opportunity to design an updated layout that will be beneficial to both the client and their carers.
Outside of work, you'll find Kirsty keeping active in the gym, getting involved with her surf club where she is a volunteer life saver and inflatable rescue boat Australia champion, or spending time at the beach with her partner and Border Collie pup, Huxley.
"I love being an OT for the opportunities that it provides in making a difference in an individual's (and their families) life. It is the moments where I am working with clients and I see the biggest smile and sense of joy come across their face when they realise how much of a difference a recommendation I have made makes to their independence and safety. This makes it all worth it!"
